When we were attending the unveiling of the 6th generation Camaro I told Tom Henry we wanted to be number 1 on his list for whatever kind of 2017 we could get.  We weren't sure if there was going to be a ZL1 or if it would be a 50th anniversary edition but we knew we wanted one and we wanted another number 1 to go with our 2012.  Then the ZL1 was announced for 2017 and we knew that's what we wanted, even better it was coming in a convertible!!  So we pestered Tom endlessly and got word December 13, 2016 that our order was accepted at the plant, February 21, 2017 his VIN was assigned, and March 1, 2017 he arrived on Tom's lot.  Then the real work started, using a Photoshop rendering and lots of photos sent back and forth his design was created.  We took delivery May 27, 2017 and are thrilled with our newest THR ZL1.
