We spent a year planning Helios's brake upgrades and now they are complete!
First the calipers were sanded down to make visible parts smooth of factory molding lines, then primed and painted. Base coat of silver then an overlay of transparent metallic blue paint. We reapplied decals to match the Chevrolet and Brembo that were on the original caliper. Then upgrades to Hawk Ceramic brake pads, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines, and Baer drilled & slotted rotors. The hats of the rotors were also spray painted silver to help prevent corrosion over time. Amazing difference in the overall appearance of the car and really sets off his beautiful wheels!! I guess it's clear that Helios has a white/blue theme, now to see how much further we are going to take that!!
