This was our third trip to see the Gilmore. We love to go there and wander the beautiful grounds. They are expanding at an amazing pace and every year there have been new buildings. This year the new one to us was the Cadillac building, designed to resemble a Cadillac dealership from the late 40's. There was also a Cadillac show going on just adjacent to the building which was very cool to see! Detroit 5th Gen Camaro Club holds this event every year and invites as many Camaros as they can, I counted 24 that came out and parked on the grounds within the museum. They were kind enough to give us free reign to move the cars around and get some fabulous pictures. The album contains some great shots of Helios posing and some pictures of our favorite exhibits. The entrance to the museum itself is now dedicated to muscle cars of the 60's/70's which is where my heart lies, we were very excited to see that as the main display walking in the door. Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful museum that traces the entire history of the automobile. I know we'll continue to go back again and again!
